“Technology plays an important role in facilitating learning”– Al-Hariri & Al-Hattami. Mobile learning is not about the technology, it is about the learner (Ally & Prieto-Blázquez., 2014). When teachers mix education with technology helped considerably to the education for the learners to improve their development in school. Moreover, sometimes tend to be a disadvantage among technology and teaching. Incorporated the technology in education will help teachers and students for having a different experience at the time of teach and learn. Discover the ease of technology approach in education, the easy access and the distractions.
The easiness of approaching technology in education has become a common phenomenon. “Mobile learning facilitates equal opportunities for all by allowing learning to be accessible across time zones, thus making location and distance irrelevant to the learner” (Ally & Prieto-Blázquez., 2014). A great advantage of technology in education is, indeed, the fact that people around the world who do not have the chance to go to school or distance is such considerable to attend to college is going to be totally forgotten. Access to school and education itself will be through technical devices that enable students in general making education accessible for anybody with a gadget.
The easy access to technology takes a fundamental place in the society. “This is due to the capability of technology to provide a proactive, easy access and comprehensive teaching and learning environment.” Ghavifekr & Rosdy, 2015). Within these current years, technology can be reached by everybody without excuses, and even governments provide students with these wonderful tools. Although the lack of access still exists most of the students at this time can access the technology in different ways and wherever they want.
Distractions play a negative scene in the play of tech-education. “The use of laptops and cell phones in the class had some negative effects on student learning.” Najya, Lubna, Yousef, & Anwar, 2017). All these because of the same students that use their devices for other purposes out of scholar aims, even though there are a great amount of advantages on this. Therefore, we have two different sides of this issue, the good one and the one not so good. Besides the bad side, teachers can achieve different strategies to have more control at the time of using technology in the classroom.
Technology take an important role in education, and it can be easy to access, easy to reach, and at the same time a distraction. Technology is growing up considerably regarding educational issues, kinds from nowadays are aware of technology, cognitive learning is totally liked with students’ knowledge enhancing their skills characteristics. Probably, disadvantages are going to be presented always anywhere, but technology has a lot of benefits for education, the only cons are the main students.
